It lets you ask questions that anyone can answer without being on your friends list. So if you ask, "Do I look Hot?", anyone who visits your profile on Myspace, Facebook, Hi5, and Tagged, can instantly answer your questions.

Hikkup can be accessed without logging in, but I highly suggest you register to keep track of conversations. The service is pretty quick and you’ll get your responses instantly through your My Hikkup page. From there you can respond to the comments your receive. On Myspace you can add a Hikkup widget which allows you to post the flash code on your page. You can even let them post the code for you, but I always recommend to never give out your login information to anybody. When you send a comment anonymously, you can keep track of the conversation by entering your email address or you can click "Click Here" to receive a link to the conversations page. One of the neat things about this widget is that it shows how many responses were given.

Aside from Myspace, and other social networking sites, Hikkup also supports AIM, MSN, and Yahoo. You will have to input your screen name and password information in order to ask a question to someone on your buddy list. However, Hikkup keeps your screen name anonymous by sending an IM from one of the HikkupBots it has. It took some time for the IM to show up, but it sent a link to the question instead of asking it directly in the IM window.

Well Hikkup might be just a novelty application without much long term use. I find it better suited for Myspace, Facebook, and Hi5, for people might be too afraid to add random friends.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars
