Dizzler, Stylish Flash Music Player For Myspace, No More Hotlinking
Dizzler is the new music player making the buzz around Technorati WTF, although I believe it was kind of spammish since there’s hundreds of stylish music players out there. The biggest difference with Dizzler is that uploading music to a website is no more. There’s no more xml feeds you have to create or finding a webhost that allows you to hotlink. Within the admin menu, you type a song and it will search for any available listings. After a selection of songs will come up. I tested it with my rare hard to find music and surprisingly it found 1 out of the 10 nu-jazz. Thats pretty good for me since I wasn’t expecting any. Choosing a song is when things get a little low quality. Some songs are standard Mp3 quality you’ve come to expect. Other songs sound like they were streamed for 56k modems. Not a very good thing in my book.

Aside from music, Dizzler also has videos, games, and customizable skins. Most of the skins take up a lot of room, you can customize each and every menu and button to fit your needs. Most of the time things won’t match so your better off just choosing a skin already made for you. You can also upload your own logo but the site failed to mention during the upload menu what size your logo should be before it gets highly distorted.
Tips for Dizzler! How to get a song to play first on Myspace!
Type the song you want to search. Click the Heart to Favorite it so that it can be added to your playlist. Click Menu and click Set as Default Song.
