Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity T Shirts!

I know.. I know.. Tokyo Game Show is coming up and all we get today is a merchandising post?  Sorry..

Sakai updated today about the items you can see at the Tokyo Game show. These T shirts were made by Cospa. The team  created designs that reflect not only Infinity, but the rest of the Phantasy Star Series as well.

For now, there's only four kinds of T shirts created. Three are displayed here.

Little Wing T Shirt

Sakai supervised the "Tropical Pink Hue"
This color was made in Crouch's (Kraz) image.

Clad 6 T Shirt

This T shirt was designed by Mizuno.
If tourists  visited the resort colony,
they would buy this at the gift shop.

Phantasy Star

Designed by Mutsuura

You can also see a Rappy Doll from Phantasy Star Zero.
And look who's with her!

  • Siliconera posted an interview with Satoshi Sakai. I know he talks about DLC, but he's talking about it in general.
  • Japanese Bloggers are buzzing about the possibility of PSO2.

そして、皆さんの熱い要望により、ついに商品化が決定した「ラッピー」ぬいぐるみ!!

The purpose of this post is to address basic frequently asked questions about obtaining a copy and the status of the game.

    • Price: $39.99

Import Transfer

You can transfer all your items and character data from the PSP2 Demo to the full game. Yes all of your titles, weapons, shared storage, and characters will transfer over. You can additionally import your Phantasy Star Portable 1 character to the game to receive the Exam saber which has a freeze status effect, and one of four auras.

Additional Comments

It is recommended to play Story Mode for as long as you can before heading online. Story Mode unlocks items you can purchase at the store, some of which are essential for Vangaurds. I received my copy from Gamestop today around 5PM. The clerk had no idea what the game was and asked if I wanted to reserve it. It took around 10 minutes before they finally found their one copy in stock! So I'll see you guys online later tonight.

  • Additional changes from the Japanese version.
    • The option to import DLC weapons and costumes has been removed from the Import Screen.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity: TGS Demo Area and Boss

Today we have some details about the Tokyo Game Show Demo! Looks like Sakai is a little angry at Captain T for spoiling the new beach area and boss without permission, but anyway…

At the Tokyo Game Show you can experience this new field, a new boss, and play as the new race, the Dumans!  You can even use their new Infinity Blast.

It appears this beach area isn't on Parum, but on Clad 6. Originally, Clad 6 was a Resort Colony and somehow monsters are running rampant! This new field contains only brand new monsters, one of them is called Finjer which are from Phantasy Star Zero's Arca Plant. There's also some catapult jumps interspersed as well.

This new boss is called ギール・ゾーグ Gir Zōg (Geer Zoug), which will have some kind of gimmick within his boss area as well. Sakai assures us that this boss is not the one from Phantasy Star Zero.
