Today's ARKS Promotion Squad Graduation stream revealed another set of Star Gem rewards to be distributed on the days of July 11th, 12th, 14th, and 15th. During the stream, the ARKS Promotion Squad and seven other players were tasked with clearing the Mission: Decision challenge quest. The rewards that players are to receive were determined by the highest number of stages they managed to clear, multiplied by ten.
Thanks to their efforts, 50 Star Gems will be distributed on the days July 11th, July 12th, July 14th, and July 15th, making for a total of 200 Star Gems if you manage to retrieve them all.

Wow. That SG recycling plan is absolutely effing pathetic. So we are still stuck with doubles of outfits we got from the SG scratch. Well, even though sega will never see this; that was it for me. I will never ever spend money on scratch again. That includes AC. Screw SEGAC. Ill buy premium because I think freebs are p.o.s., but Im not going to risk getting ripped off with SG or have to spend so much money i have 40 fking items to get one item back from this b.s. recycle shop.
They still win because you bought Prem.
If you're gonna buy anything from them, don't act like you're boycotting because you aren't.
So…what sega are saying is…one SG scratch item is worth 11700 AC?
It's ridiculous, but it's for those that spent that much anyway, didn't get what they want, and have all those items sitting there for nothing. Not for people to try to buy up 40 items for 1.
One guaranteed item of choice, yes. If anyone is interested in reading on decisions related to SG, there is a transcription of recent Q&A on yucomia website.
Still abusive. Make them tradeable and is enough
Hahaha holy shit. This is SEGA's equivalent of PGI's $500 golden mechs. What an utter cockup.
Are you guys crying about cosmetics? Really?
Those suits don't do anything, they are vanity items, of course they would cost a lot of money.
Its mostly a reflex kickback from realization that you can't buy just everything for 100k from whales on release, wear it for a day and then ditch it in recycler/shop. SG scratch puts everyone in the same row with actual scratchers.
Its extra funny if you recall the "why did they even add stupid gems they do nothing" spring attitude.
Of course no one will be actually buying star gems, but opening mouth is free, so you're getting people saying one item "costs" 10k AC and other inane stuff that twists reality.
There now you guys know the 'good' news if you haven't been checking pso-world every so often.
Well PSO-World's updates are kind of sporadic at times. I don't see anything about star gems there though… Are you talking about the forums?
Feels like everyone forgot that you can obtain SG for free. You got 3 Free Character slot and 1 costume takes around a day to fill the gauge, that's 6SG per day. Not to mention that they handed it freely on other occasion like login bonus, bingo reward and campaign reward. Free stuff is always grind patiently and pray to RNG on most online game or pay hefty sum to bypass that. And of course Recycling stuff will never 1:1 duh. The Recycle isn't here to get what you want 100%, it's for turning your unused sg scratch stuff into something more usefull. This rate is actually quite normal on JP online game (mostly on browser/mobile game) and SEGA is just being too generous with their AC scratch recycle. Also this is just fkin cosmetics not some pay2win shyds. You'd be surprised how much money you need to pay to get some cosmetics on f2p western online game.
To get *one* guaranteed cosmetic from the SG recycle shop requires about 4 and a half years of constant play and not missing a single day of hoarding SG. Meanwhile this recycle shop is set to last…. 4 months.
Grinding patiently won't work in this scenario because they've made it literally impossible for people who don't pay them. Oh and before you mention things like bingo or events giving potential extra star gems, remember that the SG scratch has a relatively high rate of giving you a 120 CC ticket…. which can't be recycled. So if your luck is poor you'll end up needing more than the assumed 3200 SG to get your outfit of choice.
In the end, this recycle shop is only for those who have already spent hundreds on SG without getting what they want so that they don't riot and will keep feeding SEGA cash. If you're even just a casual spender that doesn't dump large sums of money into the game, it does near nothing for you.
Dood, it's a freaking GACHA. It's the kind of thing where you sacrifice your soul to RNGesus in order to get what you want with the measly small amount of stuff you get for free. Not lucky? Pay more or just leave it. And like i said, the Recycle is more of a consolidation price for those who stupid/rich enough to throw their wallet at them but still don't get what they want. You guys been spoiled by tradeable AC scratch stuff way too much, SG scratch is the true form of gacha that plaguing JP online games for years. Take it or leave it, simple as that. At least mostly is cosmetics, not like many other games which p2w.
On another news, there exist people in JP who bought wholly a gacha machine (physical one) or all of ichiban kuji tickets to get the grand prize. It run in their blood, we filthy gaijin should just watch at the sideline.
I'm certain we all know exactly what it is. That doesn't make it GOOD at all. I've experienced worse and in P2W form at that where you'd need to dump an average of $1500 for a reasonable chance at getting materials for cash-shop only endgame gear. I've already pointed out exactly as you have that this recycle shop is only for people who have already spent a ton and still didn't get what they want. However, I do not believe the tradable AC thing is spoiling others. It's merely an obvious need for any "F2P" game that has a cash based currency as otherwise you'd alienate the vast majority of your playerbase… which gives the people who do spend money no reason to do so due to a lack of people to play with. There's a reason why all the successful F2P games either have ways to earn the cash shop currency as a free player, tradable cash shop goods, or ways to (very) slowly earn cash shop items that otherwise have to be purchased.
What I'm uncertain of is are you trying to defend this SG recycle shop (and SG scratch in general in its current state) and say it's a totally fine and great inclusion…. or are you simply assuming those who are complaining are uninformed and pointing out what should be obvious. For the former, I'll obviously disagree with you because it is a bad system and one of questionable legality over there as well (new anti-GACHA laws and such). If it's the latter, then you and I aren't really in a disagreement of any sort so much as a misunderstanding as I assume those who are complaining about it know exactly what it is and why it's there but simply leave that knowledge as an unspoken fact when discussing the issues they have with it.
Uh, i'm not saying that it is a good business model or trying defend it. And yes it's 'spoiling' because it created the mindset where you can just buy any cosmetics with meseta, thus when these 'hard to obtain unless you pay' cosmetics hit the game the spoiled players throw tantrum. I'm pretty sure a lot of f2p games have this exclusicve cosmetics that can only be obtained by paying real life money. And like i said, take it or leave it. If you actually watched the livestream, their reason for adding sg scratch and make it untradeable is actually pretty reasonable (i'm not saying that it is a good decision).
Well, there's something wrong with me too for complaining about people complaining after managed to ignore -z- post all these time *sigh
Carry on, Gentlemen.
what the hell!! they aren't giving me what i want right away?? what do they expect me to do, keep playing until i get them? these sega guys are out of their gourds…
Are you one of those people who would even buy a bucket of shit with AC if Sega would sell it?
Well, as we all know, you can either love immediately buying 40 SG items, or hysterically renouncing from paying for scratch in a game you're not even allowed to play legally.
This is easily the most hilarious psublog comment feed in 2016. You could learn a thing or two from these people, Z.
My bad, i forgot that i can't seak about this game since we can't play it.
ELI5: Who are these people?
People forget that people have a right to complain about things it seems. If you're not actually defending star gems why even bother complaining about people complaining about it?
The bottom line either way is that it's seedy as hell and there's nothing we can do about it because we can't simply just complain to Sega about it or else we risk getting banned.
People also have the right to complain about complaints if they find those are annoying, so moot point. (And a lot of them ARE rather heavy on gratuitous hyperbole… must be the presidential campaign season or smth.)
as harsh as it might sound, donald trump will tell you, the game is supposed to be jpn only hence ip block, so try complain about a game made for jpn people for japanese situations and ideals rofl although 40 sg recycle is lots ;O
as far as i remember they did an ac survey before ip blocks came around and the ratio of foreign ac buyers were (insert any number)<— and local ac buyers (insert 5x or more then foreign ac buyers)
You seem a bit mis-informed.
The only IP block, was to taiwan and SEA regions, since they got exclusive rights to hold their own servers, so they aren't allowed to connect to japan, and japan (along with the rest of the world, cant connect to those servers.
Sega has never blocked anyone else in the world from playing, the only times when certain ISP"s couldnt connect was when Sega switched server hosts to yahoo, and there was incredible amounts of ppl being routed poorly, they werent being IP banned, it was the backnbones to those ISP's not being routed properly to connect to the new servers. (which btw, has been fixed long time ago)
there was never an ip block, please do not spread misinformation
and donald trump is a racist hack. please do not mention him either
I'm not gonna tell you that there was no IP block, because Temmie got it spot on already, but… what does Trump have to do with PSO2? At all?
So the IP block to the world after the DDOS attack way back in the day didn't happen? Yeah okay.

…did you even *look* at the dates?
well i was blocked 2014 grand prix and sometime in 2013 and i think there was website block sometime aswell
"well i was blocked 2014 grand prix and sometime in 2013 and i think there was website block sometime aswell"
no you weren't. you're confused about what the word "block" actually means, and are confusing an intentional ip block on sega's servers with routing issues at an isp that isn't owned by sega.
the only region that sega has ever blocked from the japanese pso2 servers is south east asia.
Anyone know how to fix
Your GN Field appears to be corrupt or outdated, redownloading…
nothing show up whenever I launch the game
deleting GG folder, get new GN and tweaker doesn't work
so if you can get in using a vpn xD what does that mean? does it mean they were overloaded? no. a routing problem maybe, but as far as i know comcast had routing problems. so you even discounting the temp block for the ship 2 problem 😛 i guess you are vaguely right in some ways. and no i had this game since the beginning of open beta.
"the temp block for the ship 2 problem"
The who what where now?
