Sega is reminding all players not to reuse the same password for their SEGA ID Login and Email Address. They ask that you change your password immediately since this can allow unauthorized access to your account.
Risk Factors:
- Using the same password between your SEGA ID and Email address associated with that account.
- Using the same SEGA ID and Email Address password on other sites as well.
- Using old passwords on other sites for your SEGA ID and Email Address.
They have received numerous reports of players having all their items sold away. It is believed that someone gained access to their email addresses which subsequently allowed them to log into the game. They performed an internal investigation and could not confirm any user information and password leak on their end.
