This post will collect videos, news, and impressions given by various game companies about their playthrough of Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity.<\/p>\n

Infinity TGS 2010<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Infinity Booth at TGS is set up so that each seat occupies one player, and you play whatever race and character that is presented in front of you. To switch a race, you'd have to physically move to another seat. (Yes, this is why I said TGS demos are different from PSN Demos)<\/p>\n

An anonymous user posted a link to this video on 2ch's PSPortable thread. Its from Famitsutube and it showcases gameplay of the new beach area and the new boss. You can see we have a new technic called \u30d5\u30a9\u30d0\u30fc\u30b9 Foverse.<\/p>\n

Famitsu<\/a> posted their impressions;<\/p>\n

After we catapult jumped several times, we reached a round field that floated.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The boss \"<\/span><\/em>\u30ae\u30fc\u30eb\u30fb\u30be\u30fc\u30b0<\/span>\" which appears to be a scorpion, jumped out of the water.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

It has a rotary attack, and a poison attack, it summons smaller devices as well.  I decided to shoot at the boss in FPS mode from a distance. The weak point is located at the eyes<\/strong>. I fired at his eyes relentlessly when suddenly, Geer Zoug started to dash! When I switched out of FPS mode, the whole field tilted […]  When I used the SUV weapon, I killed the boss.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Famitsu did say something interesting<\/strong><\/span>. I don't know whether it was subjective or if Sega actually fixed a bug, but to quote, \"Before [in PSP2] when you switched weapons, you were not able to attack for a short time. This time, I can switch weapons and attack instantly<\/span><\/em>.\"<\/p>\n

Could this be a bug fix? Who knows…<\/p>\n

The Rest<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gamespot<\/a> posted their impressions of the demo. They fought Mr. Crustacean (which we know here as Geer Zoug) found out he could tilt the  stage and has a poisonous attack.<\/p>\n

Gamewatch<\/a> posted their impressions, with some more pictures of the booth. They also describe the  new boss battle as intense! They include a new screenshot of the Colonel in action!<\/p>\n

4gamer<\/a> posted a video of our friendly Crustacean Scorpion boss. The video shows the boss entrance cutscene in it's entirety and full use of the Infinity Blast.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It appears the Heathcliff Flowen and Red Ring Rico outfits are downloadable. Sakai says the load time it takes for the game to read a downloadable item has decreased<\/strong>,<\/span> so now you can enjoy the game faster.<\/p>\n

Shougai PSO<\/a> updated about details that's stated within Sega's Tokyo Game Show book. It appears you can also download room items and partner characters<\/strong><\/span>. Though Shougai believes in the way that it's presented,  it's possible these download features can additionally appear a pay items as well. We shall wait for Sakai for more details regarding this.<\/p>\n
