Hello, today we highlight our favorite Item Design Contest<\/a> items for 2010. The designs SEGA selects as winners will move on to become actual items in Phantasy Star Universe<\/strong> and Phantasy Star Portable 2 <\/strong>and Infinity<\/strong>. The clothes and weapons selected below has nothing to do with the ones SEGA will choose<\/span>. <\/strong>We are just merely highlighting the ones we like. These designs are owned by their respective owners and Sega.<\/p>\n

Sega plans to reveal the winners sometime in the future. There's also another Item Design contest going on at Nico Nico which we'll cover later on.<\/p>\n

This time we are picking the final week's entries. You can view our 1st and 2nd week picks in this previous post<\/a>.  You can also add comments to the outfits below or recommend an outfit that doesn't appear on this list.<\/p>\n

Clothes and Parts<\/strong><\/p>\n

Save This Life!  {Selected Finalist}

So take my hand, We need to SAVE THIS LIFE!<\/p>\n

Save This Life is a medic outfit that includes accessories of a stethoscope, a rock climber's rope harness, and boots. Rescue Squad and Military color variations also included. The Nanotranser is located on the shoulder, and the line shield  is located at the jacket's tails and on the knee caps.<\/p>\n

Ricardo says, \"Rescue me!\"<\/p>\n

Tyreek says, \"That looks quite new age modern.\"<\/p>\n

Dyne says, \"That's rad. Love the helmet options! Paramedic Gear.\"<\/p>\n

Centillion Frame
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Throwing  Cast proportions out the window, this Centillion Frame makes for a very unique boxy look.  The line shield runs across the body as parallel lines.<\/p>\n

Ricardo says, \"This thing looks like it wants to run you over.\"<\/p>\n

Zorin says, \"You gonna get raped!\"<\/p>\n

Western Girl {Selected Finalist}

Yes, I know, we already have a cowgirl outfit, but this costume comes equipped with a cowgirl hat and a gun harness. The Nanotranser is located as a butterfly motif on the waist area. The Line Shield color is located as a pattern on the shoulders, the butterfly logo, and the necklace.<\/p>\n

Dyne says, \"I like this because it's not ridiculously over the top detailed like PSU outfits were. \"<\/p>\n

Ricardo says, \"They need to upgrade that person to main character status. I imagine a rival for Chelsea.\"<\/p>\n

Tyreek says, \"It's rough, its sexy, its… Battle Ready. Make it happen!\"<\/p>\n

Slide to Nights
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A sleek and stylish uniform made as three separate parts. The line shield follows the design of the vest itself including the belt, and lines around the pant's bottom.<\/p>\n

Ricardo says, \"It's like executors uniform, but i like the professionalism and modernism this outfit gives.\"<\/p>\n

Zorin says, \"This could even be gender neutral. Looks professional and slick.\"<\/p>\n

Dimension Butler {Selected Finalist}
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

An outfit for that everyday girl with a kawaii sense of fashion. Dimension Butler comes with a plush toy and the line shield flows down the sides and center of the jacket. The hoody gives off that neko style.<\/p>\n

Ricardo, \"It's that hoody that makes it win.\"<\/p>\n

Zorin says, \"A whole new meaning to the word 'catsuit'.\"<\/p>\n

\nTattoo TattooSet<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The purpose behind this muscle bruiser outfit is to show off different tattoos in each color variation. This includes tattoos of the nanoblast pattern, Moatoobian text, and chest hair<\/strong>.<\/span> The line shield is located on the pant's leg and on the belt.<\/p>\n

A gothic lolita outfit with angel wings. Tightly buckled from head to toe with black garters. The line shield is located within the angel wings as a logo.<\/p>\n

Weapons<\/strong><\/p>\n

King of Vlad {Selected Finalist}
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Just in time for Halloween, King of Vlad [Twin Claws] looks like typical robe Dracula would wear. But in attack formation, it expands out revealing sharp claws that are ready to strike. It even has an  extra effect where little bats fly out.  The photon art is around the cloth in normal formation, and within the bat's phalanges.<\/p>\n

Ricardo says, \"This is cool, I like that it looks normal when it's not in use.\"<\/p>\n

Tyreek says, \"Creative naming and concept since it had a vampiric motif.\"<\/p>\n

Desmond's Blade<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Desmonds Blade is a red long sword with a crest encircling it at all times. This crest tends to follows the motion of the sword's attack animation. Your character's eyes will turn red when wielding the sword.<\/p>\n

Tyreek says, \"An articulate design, and the flowing sash provides a brilliant touch.\"<\/p>\n

Trident Ragan<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Trident Ragan is a spear that extends out during an attack. Photon is wrapped around the handle and parts of it is revealed during the attack phase.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dark of Grimoire<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dark of Grimoire and Magus Claw are a set of claws that feature a black wing like aura. The weapon surrounds your hand like a battle glove. The photon color is within the rings on your fingers. When you fight, you see a set of three blades slice with the motion of your attack.<\/p>\n
