(Hence the nanoblast strength was increased just like that..) But instead we'll focus on flinching.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pinkbar\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>What is Flinching?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Whenever you attack enemies in Phantasy Star Portable 2, they tend to \"lean back\" allowing you to attack them quickly without fear of getting hit. During the lower levels of the game you can see enemies like Sand Rappy or Koltova flinch very easily. When you reach to higher ranking missions, the enemies seem to stop flinching and it makes it much harder to do brute force style attacks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This \"<span style=\"color: #e81637;\"><strong>flinching<\/strong><\/span>\" is known as a \"<span style=\"color: #e81637;\"><strong>stubbornness setting<\/strong><\/span>\" for the game developers. But we'll call this feature \"<strong><span style=\"color: #e81637;\">Flinch Resistance<\/span><\/strong>\" to make it easier to understand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sakai found that during higher levels in the game, Players have quit because the monsters appear to be way too strong. Since their \"Flinch Resistance\" is so high, it makes it much harder to land a hit on an enemy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(Oh I can hear the vets getting pissed off knowing where this is leading to&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"pinkbar\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Flinch Resistance Modifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on the size\/strength of the enemy and the mission rank, they will have a percentage of how often they should resist flinching. Enemies are broken down into 4 distinct groups. \"Small\" \"Medium\" \"Large\" and \"Mid Boss\". The higher the flinch resistance, the less often they will flinch! Got it?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The following are just examples of A rank flinch settings. Naturally the higher the difficulty rank, the higher the flinch resistance. But enemies of B and C rank do not have these values. Once you reach S and \u221e Rank missions, the enemies won't flinch so easily.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fortunately Infinity rank missions will be a little easier to fight, since not all enemies are using 100% Flinch Resistance. Though these enemies are still tough!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, it will be much easier to reach higher levels now that monsters greater than level 60 give out even more EXP.
