New Short Episode
Continuing on from August, this story will depict the changing feelings of the cast after the battle with Vael. This episode has tasks centered around Hibana, a character deeply involved with Guren and Crawford.
EX Styles & Class Level Cap 110
The EX Style System is finally here! Think of it like a 3rd class beyond the Main and Sub Classes.
There are three EX Styles available: Adras, Blitz, and Celeste, following the "ABC" naming scheme. Each EX Style comes with an [After Blast]. After activating a Photon Blast, pressing the Photon Blast button again will unleash an After Blast.
Adras focuses on the player successfully preventing attacks. It has skills that support durability & counterattacks. With one of its skills, landing an attack after the After Blast will boost the damage dealt towards enemies while recovering some of your HP with each attack. Its After Blast creates a giant sword that hits enemies in front.
Blitz revolves around landing a certain number of hits. It has a skill that recovers PP with combo attacks and a skill that applies a debuff to nearby enemies when an attack hits, increasing the damage dealt towards them. The Blitz After Blast creates a rifle that shoots enemies.
Celeste revolves around accumulating the Down Factor to reach a certain value. When charging your attack, it has a skill that will either nullify an incoming attack, or in some cases, reduce the damage of an attack that hits you. The Celeste After Blast creates a rod that unleashes an explosion.
Another aspect of EX-Style is the "After Blast Echo" which activates after an After Blast. For a certain period of time, incoming damage is reduced in up to 4 stages over time and damage will be increased for all attacks (excluding Photon Blast & After Blast). The efficiency of this skill is improved when the player performs the specific actions of each style.
Lastly are Trigger Attacks, these are follow-up attacks that occur at set intervals. This skill will reduce the cooldown time for Photon Blasts while also charging up the Photon Blast Gauge. Just like before, the efficiency of this skill improves when the player performs the specific action each style revolves around.
In unrelated news, the class level cap will be raised to level 110.
Crimson Realm Returns to Kvaris
The Crimson Realm will appear in Combat Sectors in the Kvaris region for 1 week. It will switch between the newly added Rank 5 of Belugana Ruins and Lost Central.
Starless enemies will be buffed within the Crimson Realm. Completing the Trial Side Missions that changeover with a set probability will transform the PSE Burst into a Forte or Encore.
New Special Abilities
New Special Ability [C/Teradryl] can be created at the Item Lab's Exchange Enhancement Materials. This Special Ability provides PP +4, Power +5.5%, Damage Resistance +1.0%, and All-Down Resistance +5.0%.
You will need 10 [C/Gigadryl] as well as 50 of the new [C/Graudrye]. The latter drops from enemies in the Crimson Realm and other future content.

New Build Parts include the Stira Hexablock, Stira Hexapillar, and more!
Line Strike Balance Update
Eight of the least-used cards will experience balance adjustment buffs to their Power level and more.
- Explorer of Fighting, Moa: The Power Level was raised from 5 to 7
- Third Son of the Quintuplets, Ilma: The Power Level was from 12 to 14
- Songstress of Retem City, Nadereh: The Power Level was raised from 19 to 21
- Council of Six – Four, Zeno: The buff value applied to the target squares by the skill "Strengthens Allies" has been increased from +1 to +2.
- Innocent ARKS, Gene: The target square for the skill "Worthy Opponent" was increased by 1, but the Power level was lowered from 14 to 13.
- Mother of Ether, Mother: The target squares affected by the skill "Strengthens Allies" will be raised by 1, and grants an enhancement value of +2 .
- 2nd Gen Claris Claes: The buff value applied to the target squares by the skill "Strengthens Allies" that were +1 will now be changed to +2.
- Blade of Ruin, Yamigarasu: The Power Level was raised from 26 to 28.
Due to these adjustments, replays of matches that were made before October 1st's maintenance will no longer be available.
New Face Variation
Faltecha Face is a new face type that has more editable features than the Falte Face. You can toggle the display of eyelashes and eyelids!
Various New Features
Item Lab
- When [Item Grinding], it will no longer be possible to select material items that would exceed the required Enhancement EXP. This will prevent you from selecting more materials than required.
- When performing the [Transfer Special Ability], a warning message will display when an N-Special Ability Transfer Pass is required. This change is to you from accidentally using an N-Special Ability Transfer Pass.
- In the Material Selection screen for [Add Special Ability], the default sorting for Special Ability Capsules will now be based on Battle Power. In addition, practical sorting options for "Power Value" and "Power Floor Increase" will be available.
Quest Clear Flow
- The Quest Results and Claim Rewards screen will be displayed simultaneously for Limited Quests and Emergency Quests.
- Whenever a Trial and Quest Clear animation would play in succession, the Trial Clear animation will be skipped to improve the pacing after the battle is over.
Task Clear Notification
- A dedicated window will display whenever you complete a Task. Completed Tasks and Rewards will be displayed together making it easier to keep track.
Item Expiration
- When you log into the game, a new notification will display that informs you of items that are about to expire or have already expired.
Salon Storage Access
- You can now open your inventory and storage from within the Salon. You will be able to retrieve or put away your items and also use your Fashion Tickets.
Scratch Tickets From Storage
- Scratch Tickets and Reward Box Medals can now be consumed from Storage, allowing you to pull Scratches and Reward Box Medals. This feature is not available if the items are in inactive "Expansion Storage."
Command to Hide Dimensional Ripper
- You can now use a chat command to hide the Dimensional Ripper in the sky. Please note that this feature is only available from the Photo Rooms.
Rewind Collection Oct '25
Scratch items from Octobers' past will be available in this scratch. Scratch Bonus contains PSO2 Spec Petit Anga.
10x A Day Free SG Scratch

Halloween 2025 Event
It's spooky season with Halloween in Central City. Region Mags will be decorated for the occasion while Scythe Rappy, Treat Emperappy, and Great Emperappy spawn.
Xiemi will be donning a nun outfit. Get Seasonal Points and exchange them for items like the Ossoria Bathtub, Lunar Rabbit Build Parts, and Bujin's Katana accessory.
Limited Emergency Quest: Pale Flame of the Planetwrecker
This is a progressive style quest where you'll investigate the Crimson Realm in Kvaris.
Pharia and the Kvaris Quintuplets will guide you in this quest.
Encounter new foes like High Grudgeborne, a stronger variant of Grudgeborne with new attacks and Agni, a new boss clad in armor, who unleashes flames when the armor comes off.
Limited Quest: Old Capital Extermination Op
A revamped version of a previous quest with different enemy levels and enemies. Up to 12 players can participate in this quest. Giant Icicles can be used to protect the Transport Truck from enemies closing in from three directions.
Skill Rings
Skill Rings are finally back, but in a different flavor. Type 1 rings focus on firepower, while Type 2 enhances on defense and efficiency. You can enhance the effects of a ring, by using the same ring as materials.

- Power +1.00% for 20 sec when you negate an attack with Sidestep or a Weapon Action.
- Type 1/HP Keep Rise
- The higher your remaining HP, the higher your Power to a max of +3.00%/

- Type 1/Killing Rise
- Power vs. non-boss enemies +2.00%/
- Power +1.00% for 30 sec when you defeat nearby enemies.
- Type 2/Swish Follow
- When you negate an attack with a Sidestep or a Weapon Action, recover 1.00% HP and 2% PP, 10 sec cooldown
- +7% Natural PP Recovery Speed for 20 secs.
- Type 2/Over HP Follow
- -3.00% damage taken when HP is at 95% or higher/
- Can't be launched or knocked back by enemy attacks when HP at 95% or higher.
Skill Rings will drop in Limited Emergency Quests and Limited Quests.
If you log into the game after October 8th's maintenance, you can also receive [Type 2/Simple Guard].

Limited Quest: Sweetie★Panic
This is an 8 player quest set in the Halphana Plains decorated in a Halloween atmosphere. Players are tasked with acquiring candies from defeating enemies, and exchanging them for gifts at the final area.
A new character known as "Miss Candy" will appear in the quest.
Behold the moon, shining over the Halphana Plains, near the deepest area.
