Alter Realm Exploration: Combat Sector

• In this quest, you'll venture into the Alter Realm which has suddenly appeared. You'll aim to activate PSE Bursts and then defeat the powerful High Enemies that appear during the PSE Climaxes.
• Complete Extra Missions and Special Trials to gain powerful player ability buffs.
• Unlike in normal combat sectors, the PSE Gauge is guaranteed when a Trial is completed.
• In addition, Trials with Aina and Manon are guaranteed to cause a PSE Burst.
• This quest marks the debut of High Rasetsu and High Val Zagga.
• Limited Time Tasks will net you some PSO2-spec Cast Parts.
• Title Tasks offer Titles, Special Ability Transfer Pass Vouchers and N-Master Cubes.

Comments

• The PSE Gauge doesn't go down in this Combat Sector, as a tradeoff, there will be no PSE Bursts in special weather conditions. Since the PSE Gauge is guaranteed to increase, they hope that this keeps players focused on the active trial instead of prioritizing on unrelated enemies. The intention is to have players make a beeline for the Trials when they start and focus on completing them together.

Gameplay

• Peforming a Dive Attack on the Homing Punisher object will make it fly away and deal big damage to enemies. They prioritise enemies in the player's line of sight, if they are none, they home in on the nearest enemy.
• Mining Rig Defense is a new Trial where you defend the Mining Rig.
  • There are turrest that spawn that need to be destroyed before they cause serious damage.
• Player Ability Buffs include "Photon Blast Charge Rate Increase," "PA/Technique Power Increase," "Boosted Attack & Attack Speed for a set time after successfully nullifying an attack," and "Boosts ability for 10 seconds after using Resta Signs," etc.
• Once the Burst ends, Climax is triggered, and a boss spawns.

New Equipment

• The New ★13 Zenit weapon series is coming. You can upgrade to this series from the ★13 Cres Series. This series contains better weapon stats, the same potential as the Cres Series, plus a new potential that boosts Photon Blast power.
• The Cres AT series is another weapon series coming out. They have the same performance as the regular Cres Series, but can not be put up for sale in the Player Shop. Instead, you can get them by exchanging a new item at the Item Trader called [Cres Cubes].
• Cres Cubes can be used to upgrade Cres and Cres AT series to Zenit series.
• You can get Cres Cubes from the Alter Realm Combat Sector and other content.
• The ★13 Einden weapon series will be making its debut. It is an upgrade from the Volgen series. Einden weapons have better stats, the same potential as the Volgen series, plus a new potential that restores HP over time at set intervals.
• Juvolg Volt II, which is needed for upgrading to Einden, can be found in the Alter Realm Combat Sector and other content.

Comments

• The Cres series is the rarest weapon series in the game, so it's pretty difficult to get your hands on it. That meant if they only made a path from the Cres Series to the Zenit series, it would limit the amount of players who could upgrade. Therefore, while maintaining the value of the Cres series as a very rare weapon with limited drops, they created the Cres AT series that's upgradeable to the Zenit series so that more players can get their hands on it. However, considering that the Cres series is the weapon series that everyone is aiming for, they made sure that it's not too easy to collect the Cres Cubes that you'll need for exchanging. They updated the flow of play, so that players can aim for the Einden series while also going after Cres drops and Leyend weapons and hopefully complete a Cres and Zenit weapon along the way.

Limited Emergency Quest: Resonant Twin Shadows Shake the Wetlands

• Ruine Gryphon and Ruine Angel appear with Harmonizers.
• If they are not downed at the same time, they will revive after a set time. Try to wear down their HP at the same rate and defeat them together.
• When you reduce these enemies' HP a certain amount, new challenges will appear.
• Complete Limited Time Tasks to earn PSO2-Spec accessories like Mini Devil Wings, Arkuma Hairband, and Gothic Claws Black.

Comments

• During the challenge, you will have to deal with the sudden appearance of Tornadoes and Ruine Gryphon's clones.

Leciel Exploration Updated

• New gameplay elements will be added to Leciel Exploration: Halpha Environmental Testing Zone Survey.
• It will have increased enemy levels, new Player Ability Buffs, and new boss enemies Ruine Angele and Ruine Granz.
• The first new ability buff changes the effect of the Photon Blast so that Mobile Cannon ALR is equipped for a set time.
• In addition, in exchange for consuming HP while using PAs and Techniques, it adds an effect that increases their power when HP is below 75%. This ability buff is a bit more difficult to handle compared to others.
• This quest will be available on a rotating basis, alternating with Leciel Combat Analysis Zone Survey.
• Limited Time Tasks to acquire PSO2-Spec accessories such as Howzer Hair, Domina Mask, and Infernal Horns Purple
• Lois Halphinale is a new Special Ability Capsule that can be created in the Item Lab's Exchange Enhancement Materials. The materials required for exchange will be the new Basia, as well as, Lux Halphinale and Majis Halphinale. Basia will be dropped in the Limited Time Emergency Quest and Leciel Exploration after the update.

Comments

• Previously, once the PB gauge is full, you would press the corresponding button to activate the Photon Blast. However, when the new Player Ability Buff is activated, pressing the Photon Blast button will instead equip the Mobile Cannon ALR. This cannon is the same one you use during Alter Realm Exploration.

Letter From The Developer

New ★13 Zenit and ★13 Cres Series

The new 13 star Zenit series can be obtained by upgrading the Cres series weapons released in June. The Cres series weapons are known for their overwhelming attack power, and they want you to enjoy that strength even longer. That's why, they've given them an upgrade to further enhance their abilities.

Cres Cubes, required to upgrade to the 13 Zenith series weapons, are harder to obtain than the Juvolg Volt II used for upgrading to the Eindan series weapons. Since the Cres series are already quite hard to get, they wanted more players to experience the strength of the Zenit weapon series. That's why they're introducing the Cres AT series. Cres Cubes, can be exchanged for the Cres AT series which can be upgraded into the ★13 Zenit series. The Cres AT series weapons have the same appearance and performance as the Cres series weapons, but they can not be put up for sale in the Player Shop.

For those who've already obtained the Cres Series, only Cres Cubes are required to upgrade to the ★13 Zenit series, allowing you to experience their performance right away.

★13 Einden Series

These weapons can be obtained by upgrading the Volgen series weapons which were released in August. The progression from Juvolg to Volgen, and now to Einden, reaches its final stage with this upgrade. Its performance surpasses even that of the Cres series weapons. Even after upgrading to the Einden series weapons, you can still perform special ability transfers without using an N-Special Ability Transfer Pass.

Operation Report

My inventory is stuffed full of Claudem (Kilrodim) weapons from Trial Rewards obtained from Alter Realm. Are there any plans to allow us to Auto-Sell Claudem weapons?

They plan to allow players to auto-sell Trial Rewards in the October update. So please wait until then.

Is it possible to adjust ARKS Decoys so that their line of sight doesn't follow us everywhere we go?

By the end of the year, they plan to make adjustments so that their line of sight doesn't follow the player and only their dialogue and expression can be edited. It will take a while but please be patient.

Ever Since the ALter Realm update, the dimensional rift in the sky has been an ugly addition to my photos on Halpha. Are there plans to change this?

They've received quite a lot of feedback concerning this. They plan to implement a chat command for Photo Rooms that allows players to hide the rift. Having to type the command to hide it might be annoying, but they hope this will be useful to those to take photos on Halpha without the Dimensional Rift.

Can we be allowed to open our storage in teh Salon and use our items?

They aim to implement this feature with limited functionality, such as number of ticket you can use will be limited, and the sell function will be unavailble when using the storage in the Salon.
