Letter From The Developer
EX Style
Players can pick one of multiple EX Styles. This system exists as a third step beyond main class and sub class, functioning like a 3rd class.
They decided to create this system in response to feedback received in response to M.A.R.S. last year. While some thought the radically different controls brought a fresh experience, many also expressed the desire to perform powerful actions while retaining the use of their current weapons. This is why EX Style does not completely change your controls the way M.A.R.S. does, but rather uses the controls of your current weapons and class as a base and imbues them with additional power.
With EX Style, you can fire off a powerful After Blast after using your Photon Blast for a satisfying finishing blow. The player also receives a buff after use.
Another important part of EX Styles are Trigger Attacks. These are follow-up attacks that activate at set intervals. By adapting your tactics to your chosen style, you can shorten this interval, thereby increasing your overall firepower. This is why multiple EX Styles exist, mix and match according to your preferred class and playstyle.
The Adras Style grants bonuses for successfully preventing attacks and has skills which support durability and counter attacks.
The Blitz Style grants bonuses according to number of hits and has skills that support combo attacks and using many actions.
The Celeste Style grants bonuses according to Down Factor accumulation, and has skills that support charge and gauge-type skills.
The names start with A/B/C so they can be referred to as Style A / Style B / Style C.
Additionally, these Styles do not require unique items for leveling them. EXP is accumulated in the same way as Subclasses. This gives you a new way to use the EXP accumulated with your Main Class and makes it easy to obtain necessary skills and try out multiple styles.
Skill Rings
Skill Rings are a new category of equipment in the same vein as Weapons and Armor which you can look forward to appearing in your drops.
Increase your damage output with Rings that support your normal playstyle, or maximize your firepower for the situations which big damage is needed.
To make it not make feel like a waste when you obtain multiple rings, they've implemented an upgrading system. However, even non-upgraded rings still boast plenty of benefits.
Line Strike Card Balance Adjustments
This balance adjustment focuses on the attack power of Cards that have low usage rates.
They initially considered performing nerfs in these balance changes. However, nerfing cards that are central to the meta could risk harming the overall game balance and undermine each card's unique characteristics. They have concluded that no card is powerful enough to warrant nerfs and will instead focus solely on buffing cards.
They will do their utmost to proceed forward with this policy only enacting buffs. They will consider nerfs only if they become necessary, and will communicate the content of these changes if it ever happens.
Operation Report
Some Lobby Actions Display my Currently Equipped Weapon. Would it be possible to also have idles show my equipped weapon as well?
They are working on a new Idle that will reflect equipped weapons. Please wait for more information.
Can you make it possible to use Chat Commands in Auto Chat that plays character voices?
Enter the desired voice number after /vo # to play that voice using a chat command.
Some commands play a random voice line, and they explored the possibility of letting you choose specific ones. Unfortunately the way the sound data is set up makes it difficult to implement, so this feature will not be available for now.
Please try setting up your Auto Chat to include this voice playback chat command.

I miss PSO2
Then play it?
It's literally still there. I never understand when people say this because I go and play it still often alongside NGS
I miss the old times when we could whine all we want and people would just listen and comfort us instead of always giving a piece of their mind
Whining about other people whining about other people whining. When does the cycle end?
No one owes you comfort. You can fix your own problems since it's a video game.
I miss the old times when people on the internet weren't so soft.
