"The Writhing Malice, Confined '26"

• This quest takes place in Dreisen Plant and supports up to 8 players.
• Clearing each wave adds more time to the clock, so keep extending the time limit as you push toward the final wave!
• Certain waves feature special mechanics that can give you the upper hand in battle, use them wisely and try to carry as much time as possible into the final wave.
• Title Task and Limited-time Tasks will also be added alongside this quest, complete the tasks to earn titles and basewear.

• Alongside powerful Yudi-type augments this revival also brings back items that let you add A-type EX Augments which offer stronger effects than standard EX Augments.

Story Chapter 9

• After returning from their investigation at the Alter Realm, the protagonist and their companions visit Crawford with Lucia, a young girl who has lost her memories.
• New developments await as they uncover Lucia's memories and the strange events that took place in the Alter Realm.

Limited Quest: Lurking in the Twisted Forest

• An 8 player quest that is set in a strangely altered Resol Forest.
• Megalotix enemies and Enhanced enemies will stand in your way.
• Use helpful mechanics like Sky Chargers to gain the upper hand.
• Ruine Anga awaits at the end.

Limited Emergency Quest: Luther, The Emergent Created Conqueror D.2

• Take on malignant Rune Luther with up to 8 players.
• It's more approachable than the regular version.
• Exclusive to this quest is a Line Strike card featuring Luther from Super Phantasy Festival 2025 key visual.

EX Style and New Equipment

• The level cap for EX Styles is being raised to level 40!
• Each style will also gain two new Style-Skills:
  • First Strike starts you off with a partially filled Photon Blast Gauge as soon as the quest begins.
  • Blast Echo Quick Trigger causes an additional attack that consumes stock, builds your Photon Blast Gauge and shortens the cooldown before you can use Photon Blast again. You gain one stock when Blast Echo activates and another when Blast Echo reaches its maximum stage.
• New Legend.5 Series Levarenz
  • Levarenz Series boosts the Photon Blast Gauge with attacks and features a Potential that temporarily increases the power of all allies whenever a Photon Blast is activated.
  • While this effect is active, Photon Blasts used by you or your allies can extend its duration up to a set limit.
• Ascillusion Series
  • The Ascillusion Series can be upgraded from the Granillusion Series using Granillusion Volt I.
  • Ascillusion Weapons have improved stats over their predecessors and even stronger potentials.
  • They can be obtained from Limited Time Quests and other content so be sure to grab them!

Various Improvements

• Quick Food is getting a new Recommended Recipe option that automatically selects ingredients for you.
• You can now add items to your Wanted Item List from two new places, Featured Drop Items and Quest Reward Details.
• Added a Recommended Element field to the Quest Info Screen. Searching quests will display useful element icons making it easier to prepare before heading out.
• Quest Ranking and Level will now be displayed in the Quest Result window as well.

Various Improvements 2

• Music Discs, Mag Forms and Build Parts can now be used immediately from the Use Item screen that appears after drawing a Scratch Ticket.
• The Salons Customizing Expressions Menu is also getting a feature that lets you copy Expression Settings.
• Weapon Category icons assigned to a multi-weapon will now appear in item details.
• A large assortment of small geometric build parts will be coming soon to Creative Spaces!

New Cards to Line Strike

• 20 New Cards will be added to the Card Scratch featuring characters from PSO2.
• The new line-up includes cards that enable fresh strategies, strengthening classic tactics for each element, serve as powerful deck centerpieces or introduce unique effects that extra flavor to your decks.
• A new starter Deck that focuses on self buffing fire and lightning cards will also be added. It is an easy to use deck that utilizes the core Line Strike strategy of moving powered up cards to other lines in order to make the best use out of your cards.
• The Deck comes as a set with the Line Strike Ring accessory worn by Victoria which displays cards around your character.

Revival AC Scratch: 5th Anniv Thankful

• Complete Weekly Tasks to earn free Tickets which can reward you with AC Scratch Ticket prizes. This addition of the 5th Anniv Thankful Revival Scratch brings back a selections of AC Scratch Ticket prizes originally released between March and June 2023.

Limited Quest: Beach Wars '26

• West Aelio is decked out for beach season in this Quest which supports up to 12 players.
• Trials that appear have a chance to 'change-over.'
• The longer you stay in the quest and the more Trials you complete you'll increase your rewards from completing each Trial.
• If a Trial changes over, Ruine Anga will appear!
• During the Trial, story npcs may join you in their swimwear. You'll get to see some rare interactions and team ups because of this.
• When you accept this quest in the Photo Room, you'll get to see characters hanging out in their beach attire.
• Exclusive Elmir and Rappy Line Strike Cards with special summer-themed alternate art will drop in this Quest.

Letter From the Developer

Main STory Chapter 9

Chapter 8, which was released in April, was created to be a prologue to this new chapter, launching a new story arc. What is Alter-Crawford planning and how will the battle between the ARKS and the Starless change? These developments will greatly influence the story to come!

SUPER PHantasy Festival

In this Event they will hold the annual tradition of 10-a-day free AC Scratch, good for up to 100 free draws. For this round they reviewed the drawing odds and adjusted things so that newly added items will be easier to obtain than before. By logging in every day and drawing Scratch Tickets you'll get more chances to get new items!

Levarenz Weapon Series

This weapon can be obtained from Quests where Ruin Anga appears. If you've played PSO2 you might have noticed the Levarenz series designs are inspired by the Ares weapon series from PSO2.

In terms of performance, their power is on par with the 15* Kinz series and they come with potentials that are easy to put to use.

They also intend them to be easier to obtain than previous Legend weapons.

Furthermore, they're planning to have one upgrade for the series after release, and along with the Legend.4 Lexio Series, one more upgrade around the end of the year.

Beach Wars

This time they've adopted a system where the longer you stay in the quest and the more trials you clear, the more rewards you'll get from clearing a trial. Additional rewards will hit their maximum limit after you clear 3 trials.

Instead of running in circles in the hopes of getting the same Trial over and over in a short time, this will allow you to acquire more rewards by staying in the Quest over a long time.

The quest will feature Aina, Manon, and Lucia battling in swimsuits alongside other characters.
Those who have been playing since the PSO2 days might even spot hints of the seasonal Emergency Quests from the past.

ARKS Operation Report

They will be making balance adjustments for Bouncer's Jet Boots in October. More details will be shared in an upcoming Headline Wave!

Please reset the Line Strike rankings regularly!

They're considering resetting rankings during an update in October or later, as well as distributing participation prizes for players who have played at least one ranked battle at the time of the reset.

• sena's collab is scheduled for September 2026 featuring outfits, hairstyles, and weapon camos based on senas' original characters depicted in the key visual.

• sena is a freelance illustrator and designer who has created costume designs and visuals for numerous games. Outside of NGS they were the character designer for Odette in Idola Phantasy Star Saga.
• In addition they have commissioned work from them for SEGAs Arcade Titles like CHUNITHM, maimai deluxe, Eiketsu Taisen, and Sangokushi Taisen. Their past work in NGS has mainly been outfits with stylish designs.

Zundamon NGS Collab

• Outfits, hairstyles, and accessories that let you dress as Zundamon get ready for some new weapon camo, voices and acrylic stand build parts.
• Zundamon collab will feature avatar items such as outfits, hairstyles, and accessories. There will even be weapon camos, a voice, acrylic stand Build Parts and more.
• Zundamon was created as part of the Tohoku Zunko & Zundamon Project which was originally launched to support recovery efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake.
• Embodying the spirit of the zunda-mochi, a traditional Tohoku confection, Zundamon promotes Tohoku through a wide rang of media including character merchandise, anime and manga.

Kinz Weapon Series

It has been a common staple for newer weapon series to have a unified design. However, for this weapon, they wanted to create a group of high rarity weapons with unique designs like those from the PSO2 era. With that in mind, the Kinz weapons were designed without a unified appearance.

The Kinz Karitso Double Saber and Dual Blades were designed with the concept of sabers launching photons with ultra high output in mind.

Since they are high rarity items, they wanted to make them resemble the latest version of Double Cannon and make sure to incorporate that into the design.

Kinz Magius Talis was inspired by a popular past item called Motav's Prophecy which features a grimoire motif. However, the grimoire-like design incorporates sci-fi elements instead and has a focus on the sorceress circles.
