Preset Ability Balance Adjustments

The development team has confirmed that the presence or absence of Preset Abilities in item drops and the differences in the effects of each preset ability can significantly impact gameplay balancing.

The development team has decided that it is necessary to adjust the overall balance of the preset skills and adjust some of their specifications.

The following changes will occur during a late January update.

Overall Balance Adjustments to Preset Abilities

• Some Preset Abilities will experience a buff.
• Since the buff will have a great impact on the preset ability [Fixa Termina], the potential abilty of the Verschmel weapon series, [Sure-Strike Form], will get nerfed as a result.

Regarding [Preset Ability Upgrade] In the Item Lab Menu

• Preset Abilities, which were previously only granted through item drops, can now be granted through [Preset Ability Enhancement].
• Preset Abilities that became available from the November 2023 update are also eligible to be randomly granted.

New Support Item: [Add Preset Ability Lv.1]

• The new support item [Add Preset Ability Lv.1] can be used to add a random Lv.1 Preset Ability on weapons and armor that don't have a Preset Ability, even if you do not have the required material items to strengthen them.
• This will be added as an exchange item for [N-Excube] via Item Recycle. (Up to 3 items can be exchanged a week)

In addition, new weapons and a new rarity for armor will become available in late January. More details will be released in the January 30th NGS Headline.

Wellbia Anti-Cheat software was implemented into the Japanese version on November 8th.

Please note that you have the option to deactivate the new program by applying "Compatibility Mode" through the game launcher:

• Click: 「環境設定」⇒「機能」Tab ⇒「ゲーム起動」 and check 「互換性モード」
• Click: [Preferences] → [Features] Tab → [Game Launch] and check "Compatibility Mode"

If you accidentally launch the game without checking "Compatibility Mode," you can use Wellbia's official uninstaller as noted from their FAQ.
