This is just a brief summary of a Facebook post. Today, assistant producer Bonkohara for the Japanese version of PSO2 announced that the Facebook page will change management over to the Overseas (International) version of PSO2. Those who wish to follow the Japanese updates should instead go to the Mixi page.

The PSO2 Teaser Site is now open and will relay the latest information about the international version.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity Original Soundtrack will go on sale September 19th, 2012 for 3360 Yen. This soundtrack includes 24 tracks of music from Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity and Phantasy Star Universe split up in two albums. Inside this soundtrack is a small booklet featuring comments from Satoshi Sakai, Captain T, and Hideaki Kobayashi.

Also, those who purchase this album will receive item codes for Phantasy Star Online 2:

PSO2: (7/11/12)'s Weekly Maintenance Extended

Yesterday we wrote that PSO2 would have a weekly maintenance on Wednesdays at 11:00 ~ 17:00 JST which meant it would start at 10 PM Eastern on Tuesdays. However, for this week's maintenance, there has been a change in the scheduling from 5:00 ~ 17:00!

July 11's Weekly Maintenance Extended

  • 5:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM JST @ 7/11/2012
  • 4:00 PM ~ 4:00 AM EDT @ 7/10/2012
  • Other Time Zones

Maintenance Contents:

  • Making various adjustments to the server machines.
  • Fixing some of the bugs.

That means this afternoon at 4:00 PM, maintenance will start.

Updated: During maintenance some services will be unavailable:

Time Period:

  • During 9:00 ~ 11:00 AM JST
  • During 8:00 ~ 10:00 PM Eastern

Sometime during this time period, you won't be able to purchase Arks Cash.
