During the campaign period, everyone who clears the emergency quest "Where's the Chocolate" will receive 99 grinders.

Campaign Period

  • January 30th through February 6th @11:00 JST

Advance Notice

To give you a head start, the emergency quest will appear on all ships at the following  dates and times:

Campaign Qualifications

  • You must complete the emergency at least once on any difficulty.

Item Distribution

  • During February 13th maintenance.

Items will be shipped directly into your special storage box where you would normally receive your campaign prizes, not to be confused with regular storage.

An update is required to play the game. Phantasy Star Online 2 will be updated automatically when you start the launcher. Alternatively, you can press the "File Check" button to force the update.

Patch Size

  • 24 MBs

Patch Notes:

  • Reduced the amount of grinders needed when grinding 7 ~ 10 ★ weapons/units.
  • Made some adjustments to the way females perform "Sit 2" and "Dance 2" where the costumes would look awkward during those poses. This was actually changed last patch but they forgot to write it in the update notes.
  • Changed block names on all ships.
  • Corrected a bug with the OverEnd PA where the guard timing and swing speed were slow due to its balance adjustments.

OLD Manual Patch (1/23/2013)

  • 1.4GBs [Manual Patch by Synth]
  • If you had trouble downloading the January 23rd, 2013 update, you can manually copy and paste this patch into your installation directory. If you logged into the game anytime after January 23rd, 2013, you do not need this patch.

If you are downloading the game for the first time you must download an additional 5.4GB patch.

PSo2 Puyo

PSO2 Broadcast Station #5 will be streaming over Nico Nico on February 2nd, 2013 @ 22:00 JST. It will be a 90 minute show on the "Puyo 24 Hour" TV network — a 24 hour block of SEGA related news and programing with various personalities and celebrities.

Aside from that, don't forget we have maintenance tonight, like we always do every Tuesday night. This maintenance should reduce the grinder costs for Dudu.
