The Magatsu you know and love has received an expansion! This revamped quest will not only receive a new title, but also give players the opportunity to further face off against Magatsu in a second phase. But before we talk about that second phase, let's review some of the changes in store for the original Magatsu.
Magatsu's Phase 1 Adjustments
The Emergency Quest [Advent of the Annihilator] will receive a new title: Manifestation of the Calamity.
Manifestation of The Calamity will become a pre-scheduled Emergency Quest, giving Magatsu some resistances mentioned in a previous post.
Clearing this quest will give players the opportunity to participate in the second phase once the quest is available.
A.I.S vs Magatsu
In the second phase, players will board the A.I.S in an epic confrontation with Magatsu. Not just one, but three different Magatsu will appear through the series of battles. These include a striking type, ranged type, and the golden Magatsu Sai.
The A.I.S will also be equipped with new powers, such as:
Weak Buster: Fires a bullet weakening the enemy's defenses.
Over Boost: Provides a sudden burst to the thrusters, giving you a quick boost high into the air.
Area Heal: Recovers the HP of yourself and nearby allies.
Upon incapacitation, players will have to wait a few moments before their A.I.S revives.
New ★12 Weapons

Once this update arrives, players will have the chance to receive these new ★12 weapons.
Episode 3: Chapter 4

Cherry Blossom Lobby
The Cherry Blossom Lobby returns once more, gracing its surroundings with the relaxing sight of pink, dancing petals. Sakura Nyau will appear for a limited time, dressed in a freshman school uniform with a flute and ransel in hand. Upon defeat, he may drop the Sakura Ransel weapon camo!
PSO2es 1 Year Anniversary

Seraphy makes her PSO2 debut, handing out client orders for a limited time in the ARKS Lobby. Clearing her orders will reward players with chip fragments, which can be traded in for items at her exchange shop.
Players can also receive chip fragments from a quest available in the smartphone version. These fragments can be traded in for items within the PSO2es Recycle Shop.
School Days Graffiti Scratch
Channel the essence of youth with sailor-style school uniforms and fluffy pajamas. Players can also gear up for battle with the heroic [Gal Striker] and [Armed Kaiser] costumes included in this scratch!

The aforementioned changes to Magatsu will occur in a future update arriving late March.
Nagisa and the Weapon Camo Conversions mentioned in the previous post, will arrive in the March 18th update.
About the Emergency Quest Calendar
There seems to be a bit of confusion over how the EQ calendar works, so here's a basic rundown.
The Emergency Quest calendar can only list events that were scheduled ahead of time by PSO2's development team.
The calendar is unable to show Emergency Quests that occur at random. There is no way to predict all EQs for the current week like the pre-scheduled list.
However, if you are premium user with PSO2es installed, you can receive notices for Emergency Quests 1 hour in advance.
The Emergency Quest schedule below lists both Emergency Quests and the start times for Boost Events. Things like "EXP Boost Day" and "Mesetan Shooter: Boost Period" are merely there to inform you when that Boost Event is about to begin. There are no Emergency Quests called "EXP Boost Day."
Please be sure to notify us whenever there are issues with the calendar, so that we can fix them as quick as possible. Also keep in mind that you may need to resync the calendar periodically as Emergency Quests and Boost Events can change at Sega's discretion.

12 Star Grinding Relief
Reduced the meseta costs for grinding 12 star weapons.
Partially relaxed the maximum risk for 12 star weapons.
Balance Adjustments
Improved the chances for a weapon to be granted with the [Ultimate Buster] ability for Lv 80+ enemies that appear outside of Ultimate Quests.
Other Stuff
Items placed down on the field will show up as a different color than normal drop items on the Radar Map.
Added a listing in the Quick Menu that lets you transfer to Shared Ships.
Added an overhead option that displays your character's name and ship name.
Made improvements to reduce the time it takes when downloading the game data for the first time.

Challenge Blocks allow you to access Challenge Quests. As you enter this block, you lose access to certain features.
Challenge Blocks
As you enter the block, you'll temporarily lose access to all of your items — excluding your costume and accessories.
Your character will become level 1 and switch to the Challenger class.
You will temporarily be able to store up to 100 items in your inventory.
Your character will not receive Login Stamps, Casino Coins, nor Extreme Passes.
Login Call announcements will display for the currently active Friends List.
Challenger Class
Challengers have the following traits.
They can equip any weapon and unit.
They can learn any photon art and technic
They can learn any class skill
They can use up to two stance skills at the same time.
Shared Ships
Shared Ships have access to their own Arks Card, Friends List, Symbol Arts, and Mailing system.
Since you don't have access to your normal Friends List, you will need to re-add your friends again.
You will have to setup your ARKS Card information again on Shared Ships.
All Team Functions are disabled on Shared Ships, including Team Chat.
Emergency Quest announcements are unavailable on Shared Ships.
The Emergency Quest schedule will update automatically during maintenance. Please wait until after maintenance has ended to see the current schedule.
Please resync the calendar periodically to receive the latest updates, as the schedule may change at Sega's discretion.
This calendar is unable to show Emergency Quests that occur at random.
Boost Eventsthat occur for 24 hours will appear in this calendar with only their start times.
Boost Events that occur for several hours will use the "period" suffix in their titles. Please check the Google Calendar itself to view the event duration.
