PSO2 JP: Happy Wedding Scratch Ending 8/1/2012

On Wednesday, August 1st, 2012, the Happy Wedding Scratch will be removed from the game. Costumes/Parts, hairstyles, accessories, voices, and lobby actions contained in this scratch will no longer be available.

Because of this, the item used in trading for the Color Change Pass will be temporarily unobtainable. However, some time around a future AC Scratch update, they will increase the variety of items that can be used in exchange for the Color Change Pass.

*They did not specify which AC Scratch update it would return in.

PSO2 JP: Compensations for Special and Emergency Maintenances

Since the start of the official release, we've had many maintenances, from making adjustments to the servers, to addressing the recent exploits malicious players have discovered. In response to this, the staff has decided to compensate all players with some free gifts.

To all who registered for Phantasy Star Online 2 before Monday July 23rd, 2012 @ 23:00 JST will receive the following gift:

  • 「FUN500獲得チケット」×1個
  • "FUN 500 Ticket" x 1

To everyone who has purchased Arks Cash before Monday July 23rd, 2012 @ 23:00 JST will receive the following gift:

  • 「プレミアムセット1日」×5個
  • "1 day Premium Set" x 5

The Item code will be distributed to the email address registered with the SEGA ID. They plan to distribute the item code by the end of July through Early August. However the final date has not been decided yet and they will inform you later of the correct time.

The Premium Set includes My Room, My Shop, Extra Storage, and Trading services.

  • To address the exploit of changing NPC positions in the lobby as well as using technics in the lobby.
  • To correct the bug where the Talis weapon メタリソリドム Metalisolidum does not drop.

A Warning to All Players! (Updated!)

This is a separate warning unrelated to the Japanese site. Malicious players can move your characters in the lobby regardless of idling or not. There is an exploit not yet discovered by Sega where someone can move your character outside of the lobby. On your screen everything appears fine, but to others, you may appear outside of the window.
