PSO2 JP: Ship 2's Misbehavior (7/20/2012)

On the early morning of July 20th, 2012, the staff has confirmed that once again on Ship 2, the NPC positions in the Arks Lobby were moved around. Additionally they have confirmed the use of technics in the Arks Lobby. It is likely the suspect is using a different method than the last time to move the NPC locations, and the staff is currently investigating it. 

The suspect isn't hacking nor cracking the server, they are making use of exploits, therefore it has no affect on your personal data. They will increase monitoring and continue to suspend the accounts of wicked users. They are very sorry for the inconvenience. If you happen to notice the NPCs are in the wrong locations, please change to another block immediately. They will try to address this exploit as soon as possible.

It's around 6AM here, and after checking out the official page, it appears the servers were shut down again.

Maintenance Schedule:

  • 5:23 PM until 10:00 PM  (Japanese Standard Time)
  • 4:23 AM until 9:00 AM (Eastern Daylight Time)

 

PSO2 JP: Patch Update (7/22/2012)

An update is required in order to continue playing Phantasy Star Online 2. After you launch the game, press the “ファイルチェック” file check button to begin the patching process. (Or you can just Launch the game to start the patching process.)

Launcher Update

  • Version 01.02.07

Client Update

  • Ver.1.0004.2

You can confirm these version numbers at the lower left corner of the Launcher, and lower right corner of the Game Client.

7/22 Patch Notes

  • Corrected a bug where the Talis "Metalisolidum" doesn't drop.
  • Addressed the issue where NPCs can be moved in the lobby, as well as technics being used in the lobby.

7/20 Patch Notes:

  • They want you to reinstall the game if you installed it on a FAT32 formatted hard drive. However since the problem may occur again they suggested you install the game on a NTFS formatted hard drive.

Permissions Fixes

(Inquiry: Please comment below whether you were able to launch the game if you had a corrupted pso2 launcher exe file or had the windows administration problem.)
