PSO2 JP: Happy Wedding Scratch Ending 8/1/2012

On Wednesday, August 1st, 2012, the Happy Wedding Scratch will be removed from the game. Costumes/Parts, hairstyles, accessories, voices, and lobby actions contained in this scratch will no longer be available.

Because of this, the item used in trading for the Color Change Pass will be temporarily unobtainable. However, some time around a future AC Scratch update, they will increase the variety of items that can be used in exchange for the Color Change Pass.

*They did not specify which AC Scratch update it would return in.

PSO2 JP: Patch Update (7/22/2012)

An update is required in order to continue playing Phantasy Star Online 2. After you launch the game, press the “ファイルチェック” file check button to begin the patching process. (Or you can just Launch the game to start the patching process.)

Launcher Update

  • Version 01.02.07

Client Update

  • Ver.1.0004.2

You can confirm these version numbers at the lower left corner of the Launcher, and lower right corner of the Game Client.

7/22 Patch Notes

  • Corrected a bug where the Talis "Metalisolidum" doesn't drop.
  • Addressed the issue where NPCs can be moved in the lobby, as well as technics being used in the lobby.

7/20 Patch Notes:

  • They want you to reinstall the game if you installed it on a FAT32 formatted hard drive. However since the problem may occur again they suggested you install the game on a NTFS formatted hard drive.

Permissions Fixes

(Inquiry: Please comment below whether you were able to launch the game if you had a corrupted pso2 launcher exe file or had the windows administration problem.)

Summer! Festival! Scratch

System Update

  • The following items have been removed from the AC Shop Menu (Additional Skill Tree) and (Additional Skill Tree Reset Pass). Instead they will be available directly from the  Class Change Counter menu in the lobby for Arks Cash.
  • You may now use "ボディペイント選択" Body Paint Selection from the Aesthetics Counter for free.
  • The Net Cafe counter has new items available in the shop. Some of these items include a Down Device for Mags and Oriental Room Items.
  • You may now blacklist up to 200 people. If you already blacklisted more than 200 players, they will continue to be blacklisted. However, in order to blacklist new players, you must remove the extras until you have space.
  • Increased the amount of people that can connect to a block.
  • Some Block Names have been changed.
  • Made it so that there are an equal amount of blocks on each ship.
  • The default keybindings for the following chat shortcuts will now default as blank entries."Whisper Chat" "Party Chat" "Nearby Chat" and "Team Chat" will from now on require its keyboard shortcuts to be set manually. Your existing shortcuts will remain until you press the reset button within the options menu.
  • Corrected a bug where the room items would turn automatically.
  • Corrected a bug where the screenshot function would display the message "insufficient disk space" even though there was enough space on the hard drive.
  • Corrected a bug where the game may not start without having Windows Administrator Rights.
  • Corrected a bug where under certain conditions, the attack animations would go extremely fast after an event in story quests and such.
