Phantasy Star Online 2 Vita Closed Beta Set for January 2013

Just a brief update, today we learned that the Phantasy Star Online 2 Vita version comes out on February 28th, 2013. The latest Famitsu magazine revealed that the Vita version will also have its own Closed Beta Test starting sometime in January. We should expect to hear official details about this soon and this post will update accordingly.

Phantasy Star Online 2 requires an update in order to continue playing the game. When you open the launcher, the game will automatically update both the game and launcher if necessary.

Launcher Update:

  • Version 01.05.00

Client Update

  • ver. 1.0103.2
  • Dark SuN Windows Admin. Permissions Fix

Patch Size

  • 67MB

Unofficial Patch Notes:

  • The launcher now has language settings for English US, English UK, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, and Korean.

Patch Notes

  • Corrected a bug where it didn't display the names of each ship on the ship selection screen or when you were transferring to another ship.
  • Corrected a bug where your Team Chat speech bubble settings would reset when you logged back on.
  • Implemented a "Segmented Update System" into the launcher. This feature will be available in the future.
