Merry Christmas, everyone! With a new year just around the corner, it's time to begin the holiday festivities. Even Dudu is in on the fun, ready to deliver gifts to all the good players who participate in the X-Mas campaign.

The event begins on December 14th, tasking players with defeating a certain enemy each day. If the mission is successful, we'll unlock prizes that will be distributed in late December.

Do note, however, that the event takes place outside of the game, on the campaign's official website. More details can be found below:

Google Authentication System

Alternative Login Method for OTP Users

PSO2 players should be well aware of the frequent issues that have been plaguing the One-Time Password service. Coming mid-December, PSO2 will implement Google Authenticator as an alternative way for OTP users to connect to the game. Just like before, once you've entered your SEGA ID and password, you must enter the code issued by Google Authenticator to log into the game. Once the service goes live, the One-Time Password Registration Guide will be updated using Google Authenticator as the default method.

OTP Campaign Participants

OTP Campaign participants who wish to switch over to Google Authenticator, can do so without losing their monthly streak. Players who cancel their OTP service have until 23:59 JST of the very same day to re-register their account with an OTP service. If they re-register their account after midnight passes in Japan, then their monthly streak will reset to being their 1st month.

Players who clear 30 Client Orders from the 3 DF Girls receive:

  • Ragol Memory (x2)
  • Photon Booster (x7)
  • Grind Success (100%) (x2)

Only client orders specified within each [DF Girls Challenge] qualify for the rewards mentioned in this section.

 

Prize Distribution Dates

Rewards for Yurika Takagi's Challenge can be picked up at the Visiphone after clearing and reporting back to the NPC who requested it. Aside from this, the rest of the rewards will get sent to the Visiphone late December, for any prize that comes from the quiz, or requires a certain number of COs cleared.
