It's that time again where we hype you up for outfits that may never get chosen. Here are our top favorite items and clothes for Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity's Item Design Contest.

Now that the contest is on a community website, we can easily link to the actual creators. And you can use that information to go to their Pixiv account to see all sorts of things you shouldn't be looking at. But anyway, all images are thumbnail and the full size can only be seen by at Nico Nico Seiga..

We hope these win, seriously, cause that last item design contest…

The outfits chosen below has nothing to do with the ones Sega will pick. We are merely highlighting our favorites.

Designer Comment: This is a Catholic Priest like outfit made for men.

Ricardo says: It has a cross motif and very intricate designs. The thumbnail doesn't do it justice. It fits really well with the Duman's Magic Knight style. The line shield is the cross itself and the logo near the wrists. This artist has designed several outfits and weapons which could really steal the show. There's a TCSM weapon we chose in the Weapons section.

Zorin says: Perfect for Hyuga, but a little gaudy.

Ana says: Needs bible weapon.

Rappylwear Men/Women

Designer Comment: I made a male version of this outfit. It was very difficult.
Female vr. Designer Comment: I aimed to create an outfit that was cool and attractive with a rappy like quality. The line shield is the red dashed lines.

Ricardo Says: This artist created several versions of enemy inspired outfits, including the Kakuwane. But I felt they did a great job on the male version of Rappywear. The line shield is so deeply embedded that you don't even notice it's there.

Temprus Says: Reminds me of some of the clothing from that Pokemon game on the Wii.

Glam Narcisse

Designer Comment: Oh Sh***, I submitted this without checking the (4th place) winner of the PSU Design contest…  Though I drew this design for a character with a thin waist, I imagined how it would look to draw it with a fat character's stomach on the belt. Fun!

Ricardo says: Yes this is very nice. Kind of like a modified version of PSP2 Infinity's default character. The line shield is anything colored in teal with all the patterns that line the jacket.

Ultilarva / Novemenisis

Designer Comment: She's supposed to be very weak at TECHNICs, but is very powerful with close combat.

Ricardo Says: This should suit you Cast lovers who want a battle ready female.

Zorin Says: The female Terminator.

Dyne:  Reminds me of Samus… but if she morph balled, she'd be made of two cones.

Ana says: I like the head part.

Designer Comment: I used Photoshop for the first time, anyway, I made this part for what my character would wear… Twin daggers should suit him.

Ana says: First impression: Rhino, not that it's a bad thing.

Raven Garb

Designer Comment: I drew up an image of an assassin, but more so, a Raven. Though some might say that it is unpleasant when a face is hidden, exposing an assassin's face would be stupid. So I'd like you to conceal the face under a hood.

Housewife Style

Designer Comment: The frying pan set is a wonderful weapon, yet there aren't any outfits for males to match them. Well now, I created it. He wears a simple and plain furifuri apron.

Ricardo says: Hey they have a point here. The real name is Shufu Style

Zorin says:  Like a Japanese take on a stay at home dad.

Honorable Mention
Lady Vampire

Designer comment: Because the Dumans look like vampires, I designed this outfit to fit that aspect. Though there is a problem… If during character creation, you can't change the location of the eye patch, then if it is on the right eye, you cannot see.

Ricardo says: I look at this as an addition to the default female outfit. Though for the most part, the veil should hide the eye patch so you can't really tell if it's a Duman from far away.

Zorin says:  Pretty good, too many frills.

Locke says:  Too similar to the Duman default.

Good Morning, probably the earliest I've ever woken up. This morning we look at screenshots of the default Cast and Beast. Then we look at the newest collaboration with Nico Nico Douga and their parent company. Then a ninja update with Terada/Sakai if they post.

 

The Beasts

The Default Male Beast for Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity.

This race was produced to perform manual labor on the Planet Moatoob. Their bodies are tough so they can survive the harsh environments on their planet. At level 10, they can nanoblast and transform into a huge beast.

This artificial race mainly resides on the planet Parum. Due to their precise handling of weapons, they have the highest accuracy. They handle ranged weapons exceedingly well. At level 10, they can use an ability called the SUV.

Terada's Corner

Terada updated today so you know what that means…. ROD???

• (Are you kidding me…) The staff actually had a conversation on whether they should implement the second form of Olga Flow…
• Olga Flow was brought in as an idea to commemorate PSO's 10th Anniversary.
• Thankfully the 1st and 2nd form of Olga Flow was implemented even though it pushed their schedule to the limits.
• He wrote this in the spoiler section, " To guard with the rod and such is godly."

A new enemy for Clad 6 Beach

This new enemy is similar to the Pal Shark. The name is believed to be ゼルーモン or Zerūmon, the image is very blurry. They are light element monsters.

Vocaloid Costumes as NPC characters.

 

During the live broadcast, Sakai was playing as Colonel Sanders. Every weapon he whipped out turned out to be a cane, though it appears Colonel Sanders holds the cane differently based on what type of weapon it is.  He was playing with some created characters, ( if it was through friend search or his own characters, I'm not so sure…) who were wearing Vocaloid outfits. We see a new enemy also.

 

Shougai Observation

Well Shougai has keen eyes, really keen eyes. They have spotted a NEW technic called サ・ゾンデ (Sazonde). It seems very similar to razonde except with a ball of lightning.

Colonel Sanders Weapons.

Colonel Sanders has two collab weapons revealed so far. Both are called Colonel Stick and one is a dagger, and the other is a wand. He holds both of these canes differently but they use the same model. Lastly, Calorie Mate is also a room item decoration.
