Once every 30 years, this divine beast visits the holy light festival. It's highly intelligent in that it can understand human speech. By no means is this beast evil. (It appears this battle may just be to test the party's strength). On the back of it's body it has a 5 story pagoda. Shougai points out that it appears to be wrapped with Wynarl's hair or something.

A new collaboration item with VJump titled, "VJump Barrette" will be included in the Infinity Guide Book. VJump Barrette (Crossbow) is a password item, so I'm sure it will magically appear in the vision phone password list one day.

Additional Comments

Based on the datamining thread, we have a mission called "Festival Fracas." The kanji of this mission states it's a "Light Festival." Either this is a new field that may have the appearance of the Neudaiz light festival, or it might just be an old area that took place in PSU Episode 2 Chapter 7 "Protect the Festa". We'll see this boss' surroundings once the scan comes out later this week.

Last night, the official site updated with pages for Volna Grafka (Volna Gravka), Olga Flow, and Curtz. Additionally, a new collaboration campaign with restaurants and the expiration date of the trial license was revealed. The trial license expiration date of 2/21/2011 will be updated on all demo related posts.

Shidax Collaboration

Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity and Shidax will have a new collaboration which doesn't mean a thing to any of us outside of Japan. The collaboration consists of playspace for PSP2i and various food and items.

• Collaboration 1: Phantasy Star Pack: A 3 hour room with a power tap. (A power tap is pretty much a power strip).
• Collaboration 2: Little Wing Set: A little snack with an all you can drink soft drink!
• Collaboration 3: Infinity Set: Potato and sausage with garlic flavor and  2 cups of beverage (can include alcohol).
• Collaboration 4: The first 10,000 who purchases the Little Wing or Infinity Set receive a coaster. By scanning the QR code at the bottom of the coaster, you can enter into a drawing to receive a Shidax Collaboration T Shirt.
• Collaboration 5: Purchasers of the Phantasy Star Pack receive some stamp cards and a screen cleaner.

Gossip Gurhal

Rapico has announced on her twitter page, Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity and Fate/stay night is having a new collaboration. This time, the collaboration deals with Gilgamesh. We don't know the details yet but followers on twitter expect Gate of Babylon to make it's entrance. More details about this collab is expected probably on Monday.

How fun, Famitsu rated Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity a Platinum rating by the scores of 10, 9 , 9, 9. Strangely this total is the same amount of points Phantasy Star Online received in 2000.

With a joint operation effort with the GUARDIANS, you are tasked with capturing a certain enemy. Lumia was dispatched to help you in your efforts.  Also you will meet someone from GRM who will run you through the details of this mutated creature.

 

Nagisa becomes flustered when she meets  Hyuga. You know, that guy she pointed her sword at! Oh no!

 

After such a long time, Hyuga and Lumia finally see each other again. Sakai says that if you are a PSU fan, you'll find their conversation very interesting.

 

Using shortcut orders, you will guide a monster to a trap, then lock them in!

True Ending Side Story

Red Ring Rico makes an appearance in Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. However she isn't so easy to reach to. Episode 2 has three endings, but only those who obtain the "True Ending" can acquire Rico's side story. In addition, Olga Flow is expected to become the boss of this side story mission. Hmm…

 

To those that played PSO, you should try achieving the true ending.
