Phantasy Star Nova has officially launched on the Japanese PlayStation Network. The game costs (6,458 Yen digitally) or (5,980 Yen physically) and will require 3136MBs of space. Be sure to check out our Phantasy Star Nova Guide which will be updating each day after the game's release.

If you've been playing the demo, follow these steps to import your save file into the retail version!

First Print: Item Code Bonuses

First print copies of Phantasy Star Nova will come included with three different product codes. Two of which contains costumes for Phantasy Star Nova and Phantasy Star Online 2. Those who purchase the digital version should act fast as these product codes are available for a very limited time.

This Phantasy Star Nova guide covers an assortment of features available in the demo. After the game releases, it will automatically update to cover concepts not featured in the demo. As this guide is a work in progress, additional information will be added in the future.

  • Purple is an introduction to the game's mechanics and storyline.

How do I import save data from the demo? (Visual Guide)

  • Press New Game.
  • Press ｢はい｣ for the message that pops up.
  • Choose a Save Slot, and Press [Yes].

How do I make those platforms in the air?

  • The floating platform comes from the new "Halo" weapon type.
  • This weapon type becomes available after progressing to a certain part of the story. [See Halos Tab]
  • After you equip this weapon, you can press the triangle button to create a "Ring Field" and press the Circle Button button to teleport onto it.

Why is my character running by themselves?

  • Pressing the [Select] button activates the Auto-Run.
  • Press the [Select] button again to disable it.

How do I import DLC into the game? (Visual Guide)

  • After installing DLC, start up the game and head to the Stockroom.

The Scarlet King Emergency Quest Returns!

  • Defeat Alonagahda for a chance to receive its 11★ chip.
  • Trade in those chips for new items at the Recycle Shop!
  • Some chips contain a bonus effect that applies within this Emergency Quest.
  • You can bring up detailed information about an item/chip by performing a long press on the icon that displays within the EQ Reward Information screen.
  • Damage values will be displayed in a descending order for each character participating in the Emergency Quest at the EQ Rewards screen.
