Phantasy Star Portable 2: Challenge 2 Stage 2! Defensive Shield Tactics!

But thou Blocked!

チャレンジミッションII ステージ2・心眼: Challenge II Stage 2: The Mind's eye; Sakai released information on Challenge 2: Stage 2: The Mind's Eye! Like a Client Order gone wild, the focus of this mission appears to be attacking through Just Guarding!

Just Guarding is when you block attacks by using your shield at the same time your enemy hits you. Think of it as the Parry System in Street Fighter and Soul Caliber. Sakai describes this mission as very tense, so enjoy it if you can. The mission drops on the Japanese Phantasy Star Portable 2 at June 16, 2010.

Phantasy Star Portable 2: Little Wing Rivals, Sonic's Birthday 2010

Knights of Steel

Sakai showed off some lovely concept art for the next download items after the Phantasy Star Zero weapons.

There are many private military companies fiercely competing within the Gurhal Solar System. The one that many of you would know by now is the Little Wing, and the largest company would be The Guardians.  So we introduce one such private company known as the Knights of Steel Flowers.

Little Wing Rivals: 鋼華の騎士団

The costume has a sort of Cherry Blossom feel but with a militaristic approach. Like the Disciplinary Committee, they may possibly have their own unique weapons, but we'll see.

The Pretty Parasol from Phantasy Star Zero will make it's debut.

The Sealed Yonohate Sword from Phantasy Star Zero.

We know everyone wants to know if the Sealed Yonohate Sword will "unseal" after a certain amount of hits, but Sakai did not say. Each DLC costs 200 Yen and is available only at the Japanese Playstation Store at June 11, 2010.

Sonic's Birthday 2010

Challenge 2

Some hints were posted on sakura wiki where most players get stuck at and waste time. The most notorious example is the blockade is located in Block 2.

In the first block when you reach up to a barrage of fire traps, instead of shooting at the fire traps, one most jump on every catapult jump consecutively.

There a a blue switch you stand on which allows others to gain optional extra healing items. This area can be a waste of time if you are trying to time attack this mission. Immediately after this area, The first Key 3  is located within a cherry tree that must be destroyed. If you skip this tree you will not be able to open gate 3. Afterwards there is a switch located on the upper wall where Gate 3 is located. After you clear all the enemies you have to shoot at this switch to reveal the second Key 3. The switch for gate 3 will disappear if you open Gate 2.

This three wall switch based on which one you shoot first will either give you an error sound, allow one person to catapult jump, or allow everyone to catapult jump. Sakura Wiki suggests shooting the leftmost switch. The rightmost switch will open a catapult jump, but it disappears after one use.
