Reminder: Weekly Maintenance

Did you remember PSO2's weekly maintenance on Wednesdays? Because every week whether there's an update or not, PSO2 is going to have maintenance no matter what.

Weekly Maintenance Schedule

If you need to be reminded of the weekly maintenance schedule, check the top of the sidebar on every page.

The September 12th, 2012 maintenance is the first part of the New Power update that adds the new classes and new weapon categories. It will also allow you to play all the main quests on normal difficulty.

When downloading this update, you will need 4.3GB of free space.

AC Scratch Campaign

Anyone who participated in the AC Scratch Campaign where you had to buy 3000 AC worth of AC Scratch to get the Rappy Suit will have to wait until after tonight's maintenance to use the item code that was sent to them through email.

PSO2 JP: Ship Transferring (700AC)

The Ship Transferring System will be implemented late September 2012 and will allow for your character to move to another ship (server). Unlike other MMOs, you can start this process at any time and it won't take hours to do. Once you transfer to another ship, you must wait 120 hours until you can do the process again. (This has changed from 24 hours when it was last reported to the media.)

When you transfer, certain things will carry over with your character data and other things will remain on the originating ship. You won't actually lose your data even if there's no characters on your original ship.

What Transfers Over:

  • Character Status
  • Your Equipment
  • Item Pack
  • Client Order Completion
  • Matter Board Progress
  • Cash functions that are tied to your character (Like Item Pack Expansion etc.)
  • Your Symbol Art
  • Data that's attached to your character.

What Doesn't Transfer Over

  • Items within Storage
  • "My Room" Customization
  • Items displayed in My Shop
  • Team
  • Friends
  • Mail
  • Player Profile
  • Cash functions that's tied to each ship (like Extra Storage etc.)
  • Data that's attached to ships.

This ship transferring system costs 700 AC!

Before you actually transfer, the data that's left on that ship is saved, so in the future, once you return, you can continue playing with everything you left there.

After you transfer your character, you can not transfer to another ship until 120 hours have passed. After 120 hours, you can either move to another ship or return to your originating ship. If you plan on returning to the original ship, you will still be charged AC.

You will not be able to transfer if you are a team master, or for whatever reason, there's some use restrictions imposed on your character. You also won't be able to transfer if there's a character creation cap imposed on the ship you are trying to move to.

On the character selection screen, choose a character, but in the sub-menu choose "各種手続き" > "キャラクターのシップ移動"

Next is the ship selection screen. The ship that you started with will be grayed in this menu.

You'll then reach the confirmation screen where you will be charged 700 AC to purchase. Press the left button はい to confirm it.

When the process is complete, you will automatically log out to the title screen.
