Golden Week in Japan, it’s a Holiday
Golden Week is starting soon in Japan which is why they are doing this week’s maintenance early and next week’s maintenance is being pushed back a little. A lot of major companies take a holiday vacation for this (which is also why you won’t be seeing a lot of the major anime series airing this week either).

They announced it last week during maint. Also next week’s maint is going to be later in the week than usual.
This is true, they did announce it last week and I was still sad since I actually have time to play today.
