Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity: Default Outfits [Part 2]

Good Morning. As expected, Sakai updated his blog today talking about the rest of the default outfits for Cast and Beasts.  It seems the Japanese gamers loved the Human and Newman designs that were revealed yesterday. However, over here, we had a completely different reaction.

The Phantasy Star Fashion Show is in full effect today!

Cast Male

This outfit is like a Knight's armor!

Cast Female

This outfit represents a White Angel

Beast Male

Parts of this outfit is made out of bone!

Beast Female

A wild and sexy fur outfit !

Additional Comments

The old default outfit for PSPo2's Beast was actually supposed to be a グラール釣りチャンピオン (Gurhal Fishing Champion)!? The new white angel outfit of infinity is supposed to be a direct contrast of the gothic black look of PSP2. Now that Beast Female looks like she's thinking, "To hell with Little Wing, where's my Gucci bag?"

Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity: Default Outfits [Part 1]

Post Extended!

Sakai updated today talking a little about the new clothing designs. The design team thought long and hard to bring you these brand new costumes for each of the default races. His post is separated into parts so you'll see the rest of the outfits at a later time.

Human Male

This outfit represents a Japanese School Uniform called a Gakuran.

Human Female

This outfit represents a Japanese Idol! Ooh Sparkly!

Newman Male

A Japanese style outfit made for young boys.

Newman Female

This outfit is a Ceremonial Kimono.

Later on Sakai plans to show you the CG versions of these outfits.  During Character creation, you won't be able to choose the old default costumes of PSP2, however they have not disappeared from the game. All default costumes no longer have that "race restriction" attribute, so you can wear whatever you want.

Phantasy Star Online 10th Anniversary: Infinity

Now I'm somewhere else with a tiny laptop, might buy one… Hi my vacation is almost over… Today we'll talk about Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity and PSO 10th Anniversary.

Phantasy Star Online 10th Anniversary

Sakai updated this morning with a new post about our PSO 10th anniversary. It appears PSO was released 10 years ago on December, 21, 2000 (Hmm my vacation senses say to pay attention to that date.)

The 10 in the PSO logo is actually Pioneer 2. Originally it was thought that the PSO10th anniversary logo should use the original logo, the one with the three rings.  The new logo suggests how PSO has exceeded it's 10th anniversary, and continues to sail forward.

Please expect future developments that commemorate PSO's 10th Anniversary.

IDOLA The Immortal Memories

In Phantasy Star Universe, several PSO monsters appeared. PSPo2i plans to reveal the deeper connection between it and PSO.

For now Sakai will reveal 3 new kinds of enemies that appear in PSPo2i.

Chaos Bringer

Garanz

Olga Flow

Sakai says he misses the PSO fans and wants to bring back some enemies you might remember. Back in the day, he actually designed Olga Flow and Chaos Bringer, so he has a deep attachment with them. He has spruced up their model, animations, and effects. The hardest one to pull off was Olga Flow in particular. But rest assured, Olga Flow is now powered up! What new tricks he has up his sleeve will be revealed at a later time.

Tomorrow the official site will update with Rapico's corner.
