  1. Heya, was just wondering if SEGA gave an update about the bug with the Matter Board Completion Titles, the ones that give out Creator’s Emblems?

Apparently there are comments in swiki about it and pso-world also knows about it but was hoping that SEGA has an official statement about it. :c

    1. my friend also got that bug to his account and dunno how to fix it. he still haven’t that Genesis Weapon Camo Pass eventhough he already completed his MB

    1. What a strange thing to ask after they released a big patch recently. Big patches are filled with bugs and extended maintenances are usually there to fix them up.

    2. Even so, the average downtime is like what, five hours? I’m pretty sure WoW has like 30-60mins on their average weekly downtime when there’s not a big patch.

I don’t really understand why a smaller scale game would be down for so long.

    3. Hmm so apparently pso2 is a “smaller scale game” uh?

Sure because a game that has released 4 episodes, 9 classes, new system mechanics, multiple rarity weapons and constant emergency quests both scheduled and random doesn’t require a lot of time to keep in check….

You know a lot about game developing uh? This is PSO2 not WoW.

    4. Instead of acting so arrogant about how much more you know than me, please explain it to me.

Otherwise, kindly get off your high horse.

    5. I mean he’s right. Even with no background I don’t know how anyone would consider this a small scale game.

Long story short, this game is huge. This is the biggest game in japan currently and they devote a ton of time to maintaining servers/bugs to handle the extreme amount of people playing.

    6. Well, let me explain instead. Yamas was angry with your ambiguous and rather bold expression “smaller scale game”, after comparing PSO2 to WoW. PSO2 is a very complex game, with many, many mechanics that are well put together. I haven’t played WoW, but I’ve played about a hundred other MMOs, and PSO2 is most certainly not a “smaller scale game” from this point of view. The 34 GB prove it. If you were referring to PSO2 not being open-world or not being released in the West, that’s a rather rude way of saying it. It’s insulting to say that open-world games are superior to the rest or that games promoted in one half of the world(Asia) are smaller scale compared to games promoted in the other half of the world(Europe and America).
Anyway, WoW is a classic, so it’s BOTH superior and inferior in some ways compared to new school games. So your statement should have been “Smaller/Larger scale game”. 🙂

    7. Well excuse me for not knowing that’s somehow rude then.

I never meant to imply it was inferior and I don’t know why anyone would think that.

    8. WoW is also old af.

Also, just for the sake of reference, Nexon EU’s routine weekly maint periods for Vindictus vary from about two hours to up to eight plus. Just sayin’.

    9. Clearly you’ve never played WoW in the Vanilla/BC days, when non-patch maintenance would run 6 hours minimum, and occasionally as much as 20 hours. And who could forget the time Blizzard had to shut down an entire server hub for 3 days because the content patch they released didn’t update to those blades properly. WoW has been around over a decade, they’ve had plenty of time to adjust their hardware, update procedures, delivery methods, and any number of factors that affect their maintenance times.

TL;DR better to shut up and let people think you’re a fool, than open your mouth and confirm it.

    10. That being said, I’d appreciate it if you people could lay off already. I get it. There are possible reasons why things are different.

    11. Also, there’s nothing wrong with being a fool if you learn from your mistakes. Better to make mistakes and learn than to not make mistakes at all.

And trust me, I’ve made a LOT of mistakes in my life.

    12. You know, for a guy who seems to try to be helpful, you constantly sound like a troll. I seriously don’t know what to make of you.

I’ll just point out the painstakingly obvious anyway just so that we’re all on the same page here: I literally just said that not only did I make a mistakes, but I’ve made a ton of mistakes.

I still don’t like making mistakes, especially when I get a ton of people like YOU constantly getting on my case. You’re NOT helping me. If anything, you’re just making things worse with this attitude of yours. Do you have any idea what kind of stress all this peer pressure is causing me?!

    13. > on the internets
      > peer pressure
      u wot m8 .-.

Also being helpful and being sarcastic aren’t particularly mutually exclusive. And I have low tolerance for mere intellectual sloth.

    14. Probably a thorough system of checking and cleaning through each ship, restarting said ships, setting eqs both scheduled and random, campaign checks so rewards can be queued.

    15. He’s also stating the blindingly obvious. Presumably you can also add routine hardware check & maintenance to that, and whatever else now regularly needs to be done “under the hood” to keep a modern MMO running smoothly.

Hell if I know what exactly that entails, I’m no technician working on the field and odds are neither is anyone else here. If you want more than guesstimating the obvious find a professional to ask, not Some Random Blokes On The Internet.

    16. We’re too busy making unfounded claims that resolve any situation based on our dissatisfaction. If it will eventually cross with reality, we’ll make up some more. For example, check out my favorite “why do I have to download things”, “why things cost money”, “why do I have to wait for update” and “why they didn’t make this feature 4 years ago” episodes.

  2. Why do I keep required to download 14k++ files?!!!!
Last update took more than 2 days! and now I just tried to update the game, although this blog stated that the update is only 74mb, I still have 14k missing files! wth?!

    1. Maybe its because your win32list not updated. Delete your previous win32list, and then open your Tweaker > click ORBS > choose ‘Check for PSO2 Updates (New method)’. It will create new win32list. Hope this can fix the problem.

      Btw, sorry for bad english.

    2. Actually, I used the PSO2 Updates (New method) one.. however, it is still the same T_T
I still have to download 14k++ files D:

    1. Seems to be out of service ATM, presumably due to SEGA changing something obscure under the hood. Prolly won’t be too long before the team fixes it.
